What can I do to ensure I get the best spray tan?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>
EXFOLIATE! Exfoliating lessens the dead skin layer on the surface of your skin. After exfoliating, it takes more time for this layer to build up before it naturally rubs off. That means, your tan will be more even and last longer! Make sure you plan your day with the thought in mind that you will need to stay away from all moisture until your tan has had time to develop (8-10 hours). All other beauty appointments need to be scheduled the day before or after your spray tan. Waxing should be done a few days BEFORE your tan.<\/div><\/div>

What do I wear to my appointment?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>
We suggest wearing or bringing dark, loose-fitted clothing. Clothing should be loose to allow the tan to develop without being rubbed off. Dark clothing is highly recommended as our solution has bronzer that can come off on clothing. Loose sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts, and maxi dresses are easy clothes to wear after an appointment.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What can I do to prepare for my appointment?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>
Shower, shave and exfoliate before your appointment! Wear or bring dark, loose-fitted clothing and open shoes. No bra is recommended. Do not wear any products to your appointment, including deodorant, lotion, perfume and makeup. If there is a chance of rain, bring an umbrella and long pants. Moisture should be avoided for 8-10 hours after the tan.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How soon after the spray can I shower?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>
Leave the solution on for 8-10 hours before showering for best results. We also offer an Express solution that is worn for 1-3 hours depending on how dark you\u2019d like your tan.<\/div><\/div>

Can I use products after my tan?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>
After your first shower, you can resume your normal product regiment. We highly suggest using a body wash and shampoo without sulfates as they strip the skin of their natural oils and can cause the tan to fade more quickly and\/or unevenly. Body lotions should contain no sulfates, mineral oil or alcohol. Aviva labs offers aftercare products to help prolong your tan as well as touch-up products.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What will cause my tan to fade quicker?<\/span><\/strong>
Chlorine (hot tubs and pools), saltwater, working out, and hot water can contribute to fading. Products with sulfates and\/or mineral oils will also cause the tan to fade. Avila labs offers aftercare products to\u00a0 help prolong your tan as will as touch-up products. Avoid getting wet while your tan develops – no working out, no showering and avoid seating!<\/div>

Can I workout after my spray tan?<\/span><\/strong><\/div>
Wait to workout until after your first shower. Leave the tan on for 8-10 hours. Express 2-3 hours . Remember, tight clothing that creates friction may cause the tan to fade in those areas more quickly. Moisturizing your skin daily can help prevent the tan from fading<\/div>
